These photos were taken at Wildlife Corridor, just south of Canmore in Kananaskis Country. I wanted to capture some of the native plant species hidden deep within the gorges of the Rockies.

Moss in the Rocky Mountains you could sleep on
I would definitely sleep on this moss. It was very spongy and soft feeling to walk on. The green color of the moss was absolutely spectacular..and I am always fascinated by the oddest places that moss grows. These are photos that I took while hiking in Wildlife Corridor in the Alberta Rocky Mountains.

Rocky Mountains - Water, Water Everywhere
I am posting some of my photographs that I took when at the bottom of the mountain gorge that I recently hiked. This post is a continuation of the last two posts. Believe me, the trip down this steep trail was well worth the trip.

A Journey to the Rocky Mountains
I stopped to take a picture of a gorgeous lake after driving up a very steep and winding road along side the mountains. I decided to hike on a pathway that ended up taking me a very long ways down into a mountain gorge. The photos below are of that journey. Over the next several days I will publish different segments of that journey. If you can't wait that long, I have posted the entire journey on Facebook. The link is near the bottom of this page.
Rocky Mountains in the Fall
I had the most amazing Sunday hiking out in Canmore, Alberta at a place called Wildlife Corridor. Canmore is located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Below are some of my favorite photographs that I took during my excursion.
