The Wolves are Out

The Grey Wolf

Groups of wolves, called packs, most often roam in groups of five to nine. Strong hierarchies exist within these pack. The dominant male is called the alpha male and is top dog while the alpha female is next in line. Rank within the pack determines which animals mate and which eat first. There habitat include Arctic tundra, forest, prairie and arid landscapes in Canada and northern United States, Europe and Asia.

I call these wolves the elusive ones as they have been my biggest challenge to date to spot and capture in photography.
