Perspective of a Yellow Tiger Lily
'Yellow Tiger' is a
purple-spotted, bright yellow flower.
There are approximately 100 species of lilies. A bulbous perennial, that
originated in wooded areas of Europe and Asia, the lily has become a
favorite in gardens across the world noted for its trumpet-shaped
flowers.
Close and Personal with a Wasp
Despite the fear that wasps sometimes evoke, they are extremely beneficial
to humans. Nearly every pest insect on Earth is preyed upon by a wasp
species, either for food or as a host for its parasitic larvae.
I was able to befriend a wasp for long enough to be able to photograph it on a macroscopic level.
