The River Otter

River otters use their tails and long bodies to move through water. They are found in freshwater and coastal marine habitats, including rivers, lakes, marshes and swamps in Canada and the United States. The river otter is a carnivore hunting for fish at night. They also survive on a menu of turtles, crayfish and crabs.
